The French disco group led by Jean-Baptist Patrick first gained popularity in their home country in 1980 with their hit D.I.S.C.O. Their name spread quickly throughout Europe, with the single charting in Germany for 34 weeks. In the same year You’re OK topped the French and British charts for record sales. A year later in 1981, the English version of their song Hands Up staked out their place in disco history.
In 1974, they conquered the world music charts with their first unforgettable hit, Sugar Baby Love, which sold 10 million copies, securing the group’s place in pop’s hall of fame. The eventually racked up a total of 15 international hits and 10 albums and sold over 30 million copies.

Mick Avory, the original drummer from the Kinks, Eric Haydock, the bass player and founding member of The Hollies and Chip Hawkes, vocalist and songwriter for the Tremeloes, perform the music that they created for the swinging 60s.
They wrote hard-rock numbers on the b-sides of their bubblegum pop anthems, such as Funny Funny, Co-Co, Poppa Joe and Little Willy. This led to heavier pop-rock numbers, most notably the powerful Blockbuster, which reached number 1 in the UK at the beginning of 1973. The group’s glam-rock image was reinforced by a succession of Top 10 hits, including Hell Raiser, Ballroom Blitz, Teenage Rampage and The Six Teens. Their live performances gained a reputation – the band was banned from UK clubs for their “shameless sexual show on stage”, but as is the nature of Rock n Roll, the scandals brought them even more popularity, with record sales reaching over 30 million.
The English musician, singer and songwriter plays everything from old melodies to modern hits on his trademark blue guitar.
